Well, being sick is for the birds! Not only did I miss out on our regularly scheduled Monday post this week, but I’ve had to move the official launch of Design+Marketing Monthly (our new e-newsletter) back another week. The good news, though, is that this has provided ample time to refine the content and make sure the newsletter looks good in as many email clients as possible.

So…as I continue to rest up, and try to get back on track, I thought I’d let you know about two exciting things:

First, I received a mention in the MOVERS & SHAKERS section of the Metrowest Daily News (both online and in the print version, complete with photo!) for having won a Creativity 37 Silver Award. I actually got a few phone calls and notes of congratulations after the paper came out, which I thought was really nice.

Second, after months of anticipation, David E. Carter’s Big Book of Logos 5 is finally on the shelves. In addition to logos by TAMAR Graphics, the book is filled with great work by designers from all over the world, many of whom I’m honored to call my friends.
