January 28th, 2008, Tamar Wallace
January 2008 (Waltham, MA) – Tamar Wallace, Principal Creative of TAMAR Graphics, has received a Creativity 37 Silver Award for her posh+funk Couture logo design.
“This award means so much to me,” Wallace said of her achievement. “Of course, it’s yet another confirmation that we produce top-quality design, but as I had so much freedom with this project, this win is very personally gratifying.” She goes on to say, “With every project, we strive to not only fulfill the creative brief, but to also present our clients with the best possible solution. Having our work recognized by a jury of our peers let’s us know we’re achieving that goal.”
The Creativity Annual Awards is “one of the longest running international advertising and graphic design competitions,” and includes entries from creatives in 29 countries and 38 US states. Only the top 25%, as judged by a panel of industry professionals, in each category receive an award.
In addition to the Creativity 37 Award, TAMAR Graphics has won two 2007 American Graphic Design Awards, for a direct mail brochure for CU Mortgage Center, Orlando, FL and the design and layout of the book Galvanized, by Joe Hoppe, for Dalton Publishing, Austin, TX.
